Come and learn about how to make your home more energy efficient while doing some hands on training. This will be a class where you can talk with professionals that do this every day in our community. You will also have the opportunity to do some hands work with caulk, spray foam, basic weather stripping and more. We will also have some basic tools that you will get to take home with you. This is a great class to attend. We have room for 15. Please sign up to reserve your spot.

We will look at how a toilet operates, what the flush valve looks like (there are a variety), review the steps on how you change out the flush valves, water level/adjustments and the tools you may need. Let us know if you want to come.

We are planning a class that will look at sink drains. You will get insight on what is under the sink, what problems you may encounter, how to take it apart and make repairs. “Room Facelift” which would touch on how to clean, patch, paint and refresh a room. We will look at materials, tools and techniques to refinish an interior room - Your instructor is a painter and she will give you tips and pointers on how to do various tasks associated with a painting project. You will do some prepping and painting in the Shop at Intersection Ministries. Dress appropriately to do the hands-on applications. See you in April.

We will be teaching plumbing basics. Plumbing will focus on Toilet Flush and Fill Valves. There will be some hands on and some discussion on Basic Toilet Repairs. You will get some useful information, along with the opportunity to ask questions about your repair needs.

We will be teaching electrical basics. The Electrical will get you familiar with tools for testing and fixtures (Outlets, switches, Light Fixtures). You will do some hands on work with wire and the tools for Basic Electrical for your home. This is also a time for questions and to discuss your own home repairs.
